CEV582M-10088 Custom Replacement Encoder (ALT:CEV58M-00088)

A custom replacement encoder is available for CEV582M-10088, designed to match the original mechanical interface and electrical behavior for direct retrofit installation. This solution is intended for maintenance and replacement applications where reliable multi-turn absolute position feedback must be restored without altering the existing mounting arrangement or control configuration. The encoder provides SSI communication with Gray code output for absolute position transmission. It delivers 4,096 steps per revolution with 4,096 revolutions, ensuring stable and accurate multi-turn position feedback for motion control systems. Operation is supported within a 10–30 V DC supply range. The SSI interface is configurable with 24 data bits and a 20 µs mono time, allowing integration into standard controller environments. Parameterization is supported via the interface to match application requirements.

The mechanical configuration features a solid shaft with D-cut (D10, L19.5) and a ZB36 flange with 15 mm thickness, enabling direct installation without mechanical adapters. The housing provides IP65 protection and supports operation in ambient temperatures from –20 °C to +75 °C. Electrical connection is realized via a radial M23 12-pin connector, suitable for secure industrial cabling. Optional functions such as direction control, preset inputs, and configurable signal logic can be applied as required.
