CEV582M-10167 Custom Replacement Encoder (ALT:CEV58M-00167)

A custom replacement encoder is available for CEV582M-10167, developed to match the original mechanical interface and electrical behavior for direct retrofit use. This replacement is intended for service and maintenance applications where absolute multi-turn position feedback over an industrial fieldbus is required. By providing a stable and predictable lead time, it supports fast recovery of equipment without changes to the existing control architecture.

The encoder communicates via PROFIBUS DP using binary coding. It delivers 8,192 steps per revolution and supports 4,096 revolutions, ensuring reliable absolute position data for closed-loop control systems. Operation is supported within a 10–30 V DC supply range. Parameterization is handled via the interface, allowing configuration within standard PROFIBUS environments.
