The FGH4K-1024G-90G-NG/20P incremental encoder is a widely used heavy-duty model offering a balanced resolution for both speed feedback and basic position monitoring. With 1024 pulses per revolution, it is commonly found in rolling equipment, drive systems, and industrial machinery that operate continuously under mechanical stress.

For many plants, this encoder has been in service for years as part of a validated control system. When the original model becomes difficult to obtain, changing to a different encoder type can introduce risks such as signal incompatibility or unexpected control behavior.

A 1:1 custom replacement encoder can be supplied to address this issue. The replacement unit is developed to match the original specifications, including pulse count, housing dimensions, shaft interface, output signals, and connection method. This allows a direct swap without changes to mounting hardware or control parameters.
