The QEH81M-10017 is a high-resolution absolute multiturn rotary encoder designed for Profibus-DP networks in demanding industrial automation environments. With 8192 steps per revolution and 4096 revolutions, it provides accurate and stable absolute position feedback for applications such as material handling systems, rotary axes, steel processing equipment, and heavy machinery. The RS485-based Profibus-DP interface supports 12 Mbaud communication and Profile Class 2, ensuring fast data exchange and full compatibility with standard PLC and motion control platforms.
We provide a customized 1:1 replacement solution for the QEH81M-10017, engineered to match the original encoder in terms of communication protocol, mechanical dimensions, and functional behavior. The replacement fully retains the ZB40 outer centering flange and 20H7 hollow shaft with keyway, allowing direct installation without mechanical modification. Electrical characteristics, including the 11–27 VDC supply range, programmable code settings, and Profibus parameters, are aligned to ensure seamless system integration.
