For installations originally using AG661 24 – 466124000000, a customized replacement encoder can be supplied to preserve the original feedback behavior while fitting seamlessly into the existing mechanical and electrical layout.

The replacement encoder is engineered as a multi-turn absolute encoder with SSI Gray-code output, ensuring that the transmitted position data structure and timing remain aligned with the configured control system. It delivers a combined resolution of 4096 counts per revolution and 4096 multi-turn revolutions, providing stable absolute position information even after power interruptions. Operating from a DC 10–32 V supply, the encoder supports SSI communication rates up to 300 kHz, which is suitable for continuous motion monitoring. Mechanically, the design supports shaft speeds up to 8000 rpm and is reinforced to tolerate 100 g shock and 20 g vibration, contributing to reliable operation in dynamic industrial environments. The IP67-rated housing protects internal components against dust ingress and moisture exposure.
