This incremental rotary encoder is engineered as a precise 1:1 replacement for the RVI78N-10CK2A31N-00050 model, designed to match the original’s mechanical dimensions, shaft configuration, flange design, and electrical output characteristics. It delivers dependable incremental feedback signals suitable for motion control, industrial automation, and positioning applications, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems without requiring modifications. Its rugged construction supports stable performance in demanding environments, making it ideal for continuous operation and long-term reliability.
To support fast project schedules and minimize downtime, this encoder solution is available with a short lead time of approximately 10–15 working days, including customized specification options. Key parameters such as resolution, output type, operating voltage range, and connector interface can be tailored to exact system requirements. This 1:1 replacement approach simplifies procurement, enhances supply chain responsiveness, and ensures reliable operation for both retrofit maintenance and new installation projects.

Incremental rotary encoder RVI78
Description
One special feature of this incremental rotary encoder is the mechanical versatility of the flange. The rotary encoder has a centering shoulder with a diameter of 42 mm and one with a diameter of 56 mm.
In addition to the four M4 holes, the encoder has a servo infeed on the circumference. This allows you to make a slight adjustment to the reference point of the incremental rotary encoder by turning the housing.
The clamping element that grips into the servo infeed ensures that the incremental rotary encoder stays firmly in place without slipping out of adjustment.
The pulse disk is designed in plastic up to 1500 pulses. Beyond that, glass is used.
