This time, a steel company has commissioned the development of an alternative product for FG40K-8192G-90G-NG. This product was not commonly produced before, as customer purchase volumes were relatively small. In recent years, however, there has been a sporadic demand for custom-made alternative products, including inquiries from neighboring countries.
Firstly, this is a heavy-duty incremental encoder. It has a pulse count of 8192 pulses per revolution, and the flange is 115mm. Typically, the solid shaft is 11mm, but there is an option for a 14mm shaft as well.
With these parameters, we can develop an alternative solution. First, we produce the housing through a machining center; our current production is not cast but milled from aluminum. Then, we proceed to manufacture the corresponding flanges, solid shafts, etc.
The most critical step is the circuit design, creating the appropriate circuit boards for soldering. We have professional technicians to execute this step. Through these series of operations, the entire alternative solution is completed.
The alternative solution we provide is, overall, perfect. It can completely replace the original product's application, and the delivery time has been significantly shortened, addressing the actual application needs of our customers.
Now, some steel mills in our country are already using this product. Customers from neighboring countries are also continuously choosing to apply this encoder.
The emergence of this product is mainly to solve the customer's delivery time issue. We can basically complete the delivery within a month.
