Today's introduction is about an absolute encoder, with the model number: SAG-EIB1B-1213-B15S-PRM. This is a model launched by SCANCON. Today, I received a consultation for an alternative solution.
The client who consulted is in a hurry because they participated in a bidding process and were required to deliver within 10 days. The client's supplier stated that they could not complete the delivery within this timeframe. Almost all imported products cannot meet this tight deadline.
It's also quite strange that in recent years, the delivery times for imported encoders in the Chinese market have been extended. We don't have the experience to investigate the reasons behind this; we can only focus on doing our job well.
The alternative solution for this product is very simple. We already have products with the same parameters that can be used directly as replacements. This is an absolute encoder with a Profinet communication protocol, a draw-through hole size of 15mm, and a resolution of 4096*8192. For us, these are all standard parameters.
We have the corresponding standard products that can completely replace this encoder. All parameters are 1:1, and no modification plans are needed.
In such cases, we can complete the delivery in the fastest time, within one day. We often have clients with urgent needs, and we assist in achieving same-day production and shipping. As long as the quantity does not exceed 100 units, most can be completed within a day.
There is not much explanation needed for this product; it can be directly replaced. Of course, there is a prerequisite here: your technical personnel must be able to replace the new GSD file. This is a very important condition, and although it is a basic operation, I still find it necessary to remind you.
