CAMS581212EK42SBB is an absolute encoder, commonly used in fields such as mining excavators. This was a customer inquiry received last week, seeking an urgent alternative solution.
The customer reported that this encoder has been discontinued for a long time, and spare parts are unavailable domestically. The customer urgently needs 15 spare units for equipment maintenance, hence they approached us for an alternative solution.
The alternative solution for this encoder is relatively easy to implement and is not overly complex for us. We have a complete solution for the electrical part, which is a binary version of the SSI communication protocol. The resolution is also a commonly used 4096*4096.
We completed the delivery within three working days, which went quite smoothly.
The original encoder itself was a standard encoder product, but this series has been discontinued. Many brands produce similar products; it's just that customers are not familiar with the parameters to match and select the right model.
