CEV65S-10056: An Alternative Solution for an SSI Protocol Absolute Encoder

This is a model that a customer inquired about, a product of the TR company's encoders. The customer intends to seek an alternative solution to replace this model.

Let's first examine this model: CEV65S-10056. From the manual, we can see that this is an SSI protocol absolute encoder, relatively straightforward. It has 1440 counts per revolution, with a voltage range of 10-30V.

Although it is a 65 series encoder product, with a 65mm flange. In reality, it is essentially the same as the 58 series encoders. The encoder's shaft size is 10mm; it's just that the flange is 7mm larger, and all other dimensions remain unchanged.

CEV65S-10056: An Alternative Solution for an SSI Protocol Absolute Encoder-EncoderWorks

We offer two alternative solutions: one is to customize a 65mm flange according to the original size, and the other is to use a 58mm flange directly. Choose according to your own application situation. The circuit part can be designed by ourselves, as long as the parameters are the same.

Additionally, there is the connector part. This is an M23-12pin connector, and we wire it according to the original wiring definition, so it can be applied directly.

So, the alternative solution for this product is relatively simple to implement. Basically, it matches our existing products, and only the flange and wiring definition need to be changed.

We quickly delivered to the customer, which is our advantage, focusing on "fast delivery." A significant reason customers choose us is that we solve the delivery time issue. Another is that we can provide solutions for discontinued models.
