CEV65M-01433:An Alternative Solution for a Large Flange Absolute Encoder (ALT: 110-01433)

Today, we received an urgent inquiry from a steel company. They requested the fastest possible solution for an alternative to the model CEV65M-01433. The customer's equipment has come to a halt, and there is nowhere to purchase the urgently needed part.

This is a model introduced by TR company, with an SSI communication protocol. In terms of resolution, it is a standard parameter absolute encoder, with a resolution of 4096*4096. However, the challenge lies in its irregular large flange. The flange size is 106mm, which is not a common dimension. Therefore, finding a supplementary emergency product is quite difficult.

Additionally, the encoder has a solid shaft size of 12mm, complete with a 2.5mm keyway. With these specifications combined, the difficulty increases. In summary, it is an unconventional encoder product.

Fortunately, we have the relevant information for this product and have arranged for production technicians to draw flange production drawings based on the information in the first place. As I write this article, the drawings have already been completed and have been sent to the workshop processing center waiting for production. It is destined to be a sleepless night, as the customer's production situation urgently needs an encoder to resolve.

In the meantime, our electrical technicians are already testing the circuit and internal structural components. This aspect of the work is relatively easier, as there is a development foundation. Only basic testing is required, and the final test will be conducted after the flange housing is assembled.

With this working method, it is estimated that delivery can be made within three days. We do not advocate this working state, mainly because the customer's needs are too urgent. In order to help them solve this problem, our team has decided to lend a hand.

My colleagues are working overtime in various positions, and I am here with them, recording the bustling night shift work through words.

Well, that's all for this product. We will prepare a few more flanges as spare parts, so that in the future, if anyone else has such urgent needs, there will be no need to work overtime.
