This is a heavy-duty encoder model introduced by HUBNER Company, commonly used in the steel and metallurgical industry. It is also one of the most difficult encoder models to procure, which is indeed the case here, as the delivery time required is quite long. Generally, purchases can be made one to two months in advance according to one's own production situation. However, if it exceeds half a year, it will delay production.
In the middle of this month, a steel enterprise commissioned us to develop an alternative product. We have the technology for the development of this product, mainly because the customer's procurement quantity is usually very small, so we have not actively developed the corresponding product.
Now the opportunity has come, with a customer commissioning custom production. In this way, our development costs will be greatly reduced, and the customer will take the initiative to bear the first development costs. This is a win-win situation. If there are other customer needs in the future, we can produce directly.
This is a large dual-output incremental encoder with a hollow shaft size of 50 H7mm, featuring a标志 pulse with a feedback signal. Of course, other bore sizes can also be customized, such as: 40 H7mm, 30 H7mm, etc.
The FGH6KK-2000G-90G-NG-S-J/50P model encoder is generally used as the main motor encoder. In the past two years, Russia, Indonesia, and India have all inquired about this product, but due to the low purchase quantity, it has not been developed. Now, the alternative product for this model is officially on the agenda.
Let me share an insider note, actually, our prototype product has already been tested in a steel mill. After the test is completed, it can be officially delivered to the steel mill customer.
Many custom alternative developments of encoders can be completed, but ultimately, the market demand quantity must be considered. As introduced in the article, the general purchase quantity for this model is just one or two units. This quantity cannot be mass-produced; it can only be customized in small batches.
