The 30-3601-A-1024 is an encoder product manufactured by P+F, and the official website indicates that it has been discontinued. At the beginning of this month, a customer inquired about alternative products, so I am writing a summary article to document this.
We have been producing alternatives to the 30-3601-A-1024 for several years. This product is an incremental encoder with an outer diameter of 90mm, a solid shaft of 12mm, tail wiring, and a pulse count of 1024.
Of course, there are other pulse options available. The original product had a maximum pulse count of 5000, while our alternative offers up to 16384 pulses.
