CEV65M-00399: This is an SSI Absolute Encoder Introduced in the 1990s

The CEV65M-00399 is an SSI absolute encoder launched by TR. It is a very early encoder model, introduced around the 1990s. According to the information, it is also a conventional product, but the number of multi-turns is a bit low.

The resolution of this encoder is: 1024*4096. The number of multi-turns is 1024, and now 4096 is basically a standard configuration. After all, it is a product from 30 years ago.

Some of our customers' old equipment is still using this encoder, which has led to the demand for substitution. We have served two customers using this product and provided substitution solutions.

CEV65M-00399: This is an SSI Absolute Encoder Introduced in the 1990s-EncoderWorks

Although this encoder is a 65mm outer diameter product, the boss part is 36mm. In this way, it is actually possible to directly replace it with a 58mm outer diameter encoder. It's just a 6mm difference in the flange outer diameter, which sometimes does not affect.

For the first customer, we achieved substitution according to the 58mm flange. But for the second customer, he was not very willing and still hoped for a 65mm flange. This customer is far away in Brazil, he is a trader who does not understand the product, just hoping to restore as much as possible. We met his requirements and re-made the 65mm flange through the machining center.

For this encoder with a low number of turns, our technical personnel will design the corresponding parameters individually to meet the application requirements and meet the needs.
