This note documents the alternative solutions for two encoder models, FG40KK-2000G-90G-NG and FG40KK-2500G-90G-NG.
The applications for these two encoder models are quite extensive, particularly in the metallurgical and chemical industries. The alternative solutions for these products were developed at the request of a steel enterprise. So far, the applications have been primarily within China and some neighboring countries that have procured these products. They are typically produced in a non-standardized form.
Both encoders belong to the FG40KK series, featuring a standard flange size of 115mm and a shaft diameter of 11mm. Some customers opt for a 14mm shaft diameter. It is important to verify the shaft diameter of your own product.
Below, I will post two photos of the actual alternative products.
The photo on the left is the product before surface oxidation treatment. The photo on the right shows the color after surface oxidation. Unfortunately, only a backside photo is available as the finished product has already been delivered to the customer and cannot be photographed again. Please make do with these images, and I will supplement with more photos when available.
Some new friends may request product information, but we do not have prepared materials. Since the procurement quantities for these types of products are relatively small, we usually communicate directly with technical personnel who are familiar with the original products. We produce according to the parameters of the original products.
The key to interfacing with these encoder products is to ensure that the installation dimensions and application parameters match. There is not much else that requires discussion. All products are ordered and produced according to the production schedule, so each unit is the latest model.
