This Absolute Encoder CEV100M-01360 Also Known as CE100M-80-SSI_100-01360

Today, we are discussing an absolute encoder that goes by two model numbers. The first is CEV100M-01360, and the other is CE100M-80-SSI_100-01360. This encoder operates on an SSI communication protocol.

Initially, I was not aware that this encoder had two model numbers; it was only after obtaining the documentation that I discovered they were, in fact, the same product.

The customer's encoder has malfunctioned, and they wish to have a few replacement spare parts made.

The encoder features a flange measuring 106mm in diameter, which is quite large. We have previously worked on an encoder with the same flange size, so we are familiar with the process. We can configure it with a 58mm housing.

Next, let's discuss the resolution. This encoder has a resolution of 4096*8192. The original encoder's housing was also 106mm, but we are switching to a 58mm housing here. The change is primarily due to the internal electrical structure. The size of the housing does not affect usage and is not considered part of the installation dimensions.

With this, the alternative solution for this encoder is complete.

The customer has ordered five units this time. Although it's not a large number, we have made every effort to assist in solving their application issue. These small orders are generally for products that cannot be procured, which is when we provide customization in a non-standard form. The main purpose is to solve problems. Whenever possible, it is better to continue purchasing the original product, as small orders are not very cost-effective for us and yield little profit.

We will provide assistance for anyone who cannot procure the needed items to resolve their concerns.
