This SSI absolute encoder version combines 13-bit singleturn resolution with 12-bit multiturn capability. The 20H7 hollow shaft makes it mechanically distinct from the 16 mm version, and the KLK radial terminal box favors serviceable field wiring. SSI data is based on clock/data transmission with documented timing parameters, making controller-side compatibility a central engineering consideration.

Industrial Integration Considerations

For this model, both mechanical and electrical continuity matter. The 20 mm shaft size must match the original drive or machine shaft, and the controller must accept the SSI data format, word length, and timing behavior used by the encoder. In retrofit projects, direction logic, zero reference handling, and multiturn data interpretation should be reviewed before release to production.

Field Installation and Wiring Notes

The KLK terminal-box structure supports direct access during field replacement, which is useful in machines with limited rear connector space.
